UPDATED REVIEW: After having been a patient of Cook Street Village Dental for a while now and having had several fillings done, I wanted to add that Dr Thode is a fantastic dentist! I am one of those people who unfortunately have a mouth full of fillings and so the thought of having them replaced throughout my life makes me feel dread. However I am so grateful to say that Dr Thode and his team have helped alleviate this. In fact, I am happy to go in and see them - even for filling appointments! Say goodbye to those horrible blue dental dams because Dr Thode provides you with a comfortable option to keep your mouth open during the filling! That’s right, you will feel comfortable! It’s a hose that is gently inserted into your mouth with an area to bite down on so you can rest your jaw and keep your mouth nice and dry. Dr Thode administers needles like no other dentist I have ever been to (and I’ve been to a lot) - I didn’t even flinch! He is quick and precise with the fillings. And most importantly he genuinely cares about his patients, their comfort and making sure they are happy. Hands down I would recommend him and his wonderful team to anyone in need of a filling as well as preventative care! Thank you Dr Thode. You have made my life better!! ❤️

INITIAL REVIEW: I just had my first appointment at Cook Street Village Dental and was blown away from start to finish! As a new client, I was able to book online and fill out all forms ahead of time - the system was seamless! Upon arriving at the clinic, I was greeted by the most friendly administrator and felt very comfortable waiting in their beautiful, modern office. The wait prior to a dental appointment can usually feel a bit stressful for me but on this occasion I felt calm. The room I was brought to for my appointment was private, bright and clean. It wasn’t a cubicle style room that you find in many other clinics. I was floored that the room was not only equipped with a big flatscreen TV to display X-rays and pictures but also a TV on the ceiling you can watch during the appointment. Dr Thode and his staff were all very personable and professional. Everything was explained with a level of detail that I have never experienced before. This is not something I have ever said before - I actually enjoyed my dental appointment! I could tell that Dr Thode genuinely cares about the health of his patients. I’m so happy to have found him and his team! The cleaning was excellent too. Their hygienist is very gentle and was just the right amount of engaging. After my appointment, I was led to a separate area to exit the office which I appreciate, in terms of efficiency and having less interaction with other patients. I'm lucky to have had a lot of really positive dental experiences, but my first visit at Cook St. dental was probably my favourite. All three people who looked at my teeth were wonderful and I genuinely had a great time, especially with Sarah. 5/5 would recommend to all my friends and 5/5 would spend another Thursday morning here.
